Number of Polytechnic graduates
Community is important to any institution because it provides networking opportunities, institutional memory, feedback and engagement. It helps build a sense of togetherness and pride, and fosters relationships that can benefit both alumni and the institution.
Almost 7 decades have passed since the establishment of the university, until the graduates of different years of the Polytechnic made the decision to create a unifying platform. Taking into account the fact that the name of the Polytechnic was changed, the newly created organization was called "Yerpi-ASSU Alumni Union" (USU). The presentation took place in 2001. On May 31, Edward Sandoyan was elected president. Two years later, the leadership of the organization was entrusted to Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan. At the time of its creation, the Alumni Association had 220 members.

2006 organizational changes were made in May-June. the structure was renamed "YerPI-SUSU Alumni Association" JSC, a management board consisting of university graduates, well-known representatives with authority in the state, public and business spheres was formed.
 Polytechnic graduates who have achieved success in Armenia and abroad sought to bring benefits to their home university and for this purpose created branches of the association in the USA and Russia. 2006 was one of the cornerstones of the association's activity. in December, the creation of the "Polytechnic" scientific and educational fund, which, coordinating donations, supports the implementation of priority programs of the university with investments. The heads of the companies "Grand Holding", "Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine", "Sil Group", "Makur Group", "Makur Yaron", and "Synopsis Armenia" are graduates of the Polytechnic. Today, the Polytechnic is on the way to overcome the educational challenges of the 21st century, feeling behind it the strong support of its dedicated alumni.

The polytechnic bears the burden of organizing education from classical engineering professions to the latest technological professions. This year, the university celebrates its 90th anniversary, and over the years, the Polytechnic has produced around 130,000 graduates to the engineering professional community.
